“Health for All” is a documentary about the complex ecosystem of health care delivery in India. Many of the country’s poorest citizens have access to government care, which on paper is free, but state hospitals are frequently underfunded or ill-equipped, and patients don’t receive the care they need. Innovation among NGOs has reinforced the idea that health is a fundamental human right by empowering communities to take health into their own hands. This film explores three of these alternative programs.
